A few days ago, the "steel box girder" anti-corrosion coating undertaken by the Yangtze River coating company successfully closed the Chongqing Xu Ma Yangtze River Bridge, which is another milestone in the important control project of Chongqing Wanzhou Hubei Lichuan Expressway across the Yangtze River.

The Chongqing Fuma Yangtze River Bridge is an important control project for the Chongqing Wanzhou-Hubei Lichuan Expressway to cross the Yangtze River. The bridge site is located 6 kilometers downstream of Wanzhou. With a total length of 2030 meters and a main span of 1050 meters, the bridge is the longest suspension bridge in the Three Gorges Reservoir area of the Yangtze River, with a total of 66 steel box girder segments.

The main project is undertaken by CCCC First Public Administration. Changjiang Coating Company is responsible for the anti-corrosion coating project of steel box girder. The total weight of steel box girder is 14000 tons, the coating area is about 250000 square meters, and the contract amount exceeds 10 million yuan. The anti-corrosion coating project started on April 8, 2016. After 7 months of construction, the anti-corrosion coating project of all 66 steel box girders was completed on November 9, 2016, ensuring the time node of the main bridge closing on November 15.
